Bio
I am currently a Senior at DigiPen Institute of Technology, aiming to get my Computer Science and Game Design degree with a minor in Music and Sound Design. Growing up, I relied heavily on video games as a means of entertainment and a tool to better my socializing skills while giving me something to talk to my peers about. When I realized I was using games as a tool, I wanted to give back to the community and be the next person who makes a tool for others who struggle socially to use it for themselves. As I tend to do my work logically and am not very artistic, I decided to become a programmer in the game industry. While going through DigiPen, I got reinspired to pick back up the instruments I play and decided to pursue a minor in Music and Sound Design. Upon joining my team during my first semester of Sophomore year, I took up the role of producer and found that it is a role that I fit into and find to be very fun and interesting. In my junior year, I joined up with two separate teams as a programmer and made my way into production. For senior year, I continued with my last semester Junior team to continue the game and became a producer full time, providing programming support when needed.
Outside of school and work, I like to spend my free time exploring the area around me and finding something new and exciting to do with my friends, family or on my own. I also enjoy traveling to different countries and experiencing their culture and history, especially since I have been to more countries outside the United States than states. Another thing I enjoy doing is working on and restoring classic cars as it is a hobby of mine that I have learned from my father.
